Once we reach 20 characters, Nominations for Port Leader will begin. The three Major Ports are all open for candidates. As for now, all ports are running under NPC standard ruling. Stay tuned for more information!

Naruto has embarked on a three year journey with Jiraiya, throughout the course of which he will be training relentlessly, preparing for his highly awaited return to Konoha and his friends. The Genin will face hardships, and push his limits further than ever before as he comes to understand what it means to be a Jinchuriki; as host of the Nine Tailed Fox. As he wrestles with his own skills, trying to become strong enough to defend himself against the growing Akatsuki threat and recover Sasuke, Naruto leaves behind everything he has ever known in a pursuit for power.
Meanwhile, Sakura continues her medical tutelage under Tsunade, Konoha's greatest female ninja and medical expert. Though she was originally little more to the team than a liability, she too continues to hone her skills and train her hardest ever, becoming quite the medical ninja in her own right. Still, though, she longs to see Sasuke, but instead finds another close friend departing, as Naruto leaves Konoha for his own training.
Konoha continues to rebuild, still recovering to some degree, from Orochimaru's attack during the Chunin exams. With Tsunade at the head of the village, the Hidden Leaf continues to prosper, all of its shinobi putting forth their greatest efforts -- not only to regain what was lost, but to surpass what was and become better for it. An uneasy peace looms over Konoha, reaching out to their enemies-turned-allies the Hidden Sand, but Orochimaru and the Akatsuki still lurk in the shadows of the shinobi worlds, and the peace cannot be taken for granted.
Finally, Sasuke, the last member of the original Squad 7, is realizing his dream as he becomes increasingly powerful in his own training with the missing-nin Orochimaru. After sparing Naruto's life, he has become a force to be reckoned with, without his brother's advice. Now before him are two great adversaries, the seemingly inferior Naruto, who refused to let him go, and Itachi, his last living relative. Against them, he vies for supremacy.
And so, the story of personal growth and tested friendships continues in the Konohagakure Chronicles...

This is the name of the foe that has threatened the Digital World this time around. Before there were psychopath tamers, rampaging digimon, and powerful forces starting wars with the humans and digimon, but this is different. This time, it could mean destruction of not only a single human or digimon, or the human world or the digital world, it means obliteration of everything.
Yggdrasil has been deleted, and his power has been transferred to a handful of old digidestined. Now it's up to the old and the new to combine forces and defeat this foe, so that whatever balance used to be may be returned again to both worlds.
Hint hint, wink wink, new and old. That means that the new digidestined need to step up to the plate this time around and restore the balance along with the other old ones, such as myself. Are you up to it?

To explain the difference and meaning of Events, Missions, and Contests, this thread has been created as a short FAQ of this topic. This is just to clear up any confusion of what these things are, and establish their actual importance and meaning.
An Event is roleplay based, and has to do with the storyline for any given character, Port, or the world as a whole. This is when something "historic" happens, such as the assassination of a Port Leader, taking out a large Organization, a war, taking over or destroying a Port, relocation of a Major Port, etc. Only Staff, Port Leaders, and Plot Writers are able to come up with an Event directly. Non-staff members may also contribute with ideas for events.
Missions, much like an event, are roleplay based and has to do with the storyline of a character or Port. However, it is not usually "historic" and it is on a much smaller scale. Missions may include a Bounty Hunter being hired to capture a criminal, a Merchant sent out to make a very important trade with another port, a Guardian sent out for retrieval of information, etc. Specialists are usually sent out for missions, but this is not always the case. When a mission is completed, the person(s) who completed it may get a reward depending on the one who sent them on the mission. Usually, this is negotiated before the person goes on a mission. Staff Members, Port Leaders, and Plot Writers may come up with missions. Non-staff can contribute ideas.
A Contest is for the members of the site who would like to compete or be a part of the community of the forum. This may include art contests, member of the month, staff member of the month, etc. Usually money and/or items may be rewarded to the winner of these contests. Generally, only Staff Members come up with contests, and non-staff members may contribute with ideas.

TAMRIEL BETRAYED
After the defeat of Mehrunes Dagon, and the closing of the Oblivion gates, everyone believed Tamriel was once again safe. But with the Emperor and his heirs all believed to be gone, many are clamoring to rule Cyrodiil. Some believe its their right, others want to take it. The Dark Brotherhood is stepping up its activity, emboldened by recent events, while the Morag Tong has spread into Cyrodiil after finding its members being kidnapped for strange purposes. While the Fighter's Guild faces inner conflict of interests, the Mages Guild has lost its credibility to the world and must regain it while fighting the increased presence of necromancy. The Thieves Guild is in a conflict of morality, which could tear it apart, and due to a declared state of Martial Law, the Imperial Legion has grown tremendously. The rumored bloody Daedric sacrafices have been made into truth as people, desperate to relieve their woes, have become fanatics. There is rumor of a war between the organized religions of Tamriel and the Daedric worshipers. All the while, the world must survive as alliances are broken, and wars renewed.
It is this environment that you encounter as you experience Tamriel Betrayed, a Elder Scrolls based roleplay. We are open to all roleplayers. Will you be a pirate, or thief? Will you be a bandit or beggar? A lord in nobility or a member of one of the many guilds? Will you strive to be Tamriel's salvation and redemption? Or will you be its total undoing?

North Atlantic Harbor Information
Brief History: One of the first actions the SCHO took when trying to help the world was building the North Atlantic Harbor. This port, being the oldest, and one of the largest ports around the world, is home to many sailors and has a great trade. Over time, its citizens have built walls around the port due to the SCHO's battles with the Grease Monkeys. However, this does not stop the port from welcoming in guests who wish to make trade, or stay the night. As the port expanded its size to keep up with its population, it now covers several miles across the North Atlantic. It is a stationary port and is anchored to the ocean floor.
